How to Lock the Android Screen

Set Auto Screen Lock (Screen Timeout)
Android devices can be set to automatically turn off the screen after a period of inactivity. This feature helps save battery and improves security.
📱 Steps

⏱️ Common options:
15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes

  • This setting controls only screen timeout. Lock delay is managed separately in security settings.

This protects your phone from unauthorized access.

🔸 Password: use letters, numbers, symbols.
Additional options: fingerprint, face recognition, iris scan.
