Open Snapchat:
Launch the app and go to your main screen.
Tap on Your Profile Picture in the Top Left Corner:
On the main screen of Snapchat, tap your profile icon or Bitmoji in the top left corner.
Go to the “Friends” Tab:
On your profile page, tap on the “Friends” tab.
Select “Add Friends”:
On the friends page, find and tap the “Add Friends” option at the top of the screen.
Choose the Method to Add Friends:
You will see several options to add friends:
Add by Username: To add by username, tap on “Username”, then type in the Snapchat username of the person you want to add.
Add from Contacts: Tap on “Contacts” to view and add people who have Snapchat accounts from your phone’s contact list.
Add by Snapcode: If someone has a Snapcode (QR code), tap on the Snapcode icon at the bottom of the screen, and scan their Snapcode using your camera.
Add Nearby: You can also use the “Add Nearby” feature to view and add people who are physically near you.
