1. Press Power + Volume Down TogetherThe most common method.How to do it:While on the screen you want to capture, press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously for 1–2 seconds.If successful, the screen will briefly flash, and a shutter sound may be heard.
2. Use Shortcut from Notification PanelOn some Android devices:Swipe down from the top to access the quick settings menu.Look for a button labeled “Screenshot” or with a ? icon.Tap it to capture the screen.
3. Three-Finger Swipe (on Some Models)Especially on Xiaomi, OnePlus, Motorola, and some Oppo models:Can be enabled under “Gestures” or “Shortcuts” in Settings.Swipe down with three fingers to take a screenshot.
4. Voice Command (with Google Assistant)Say: “Hey Google, take a screenshot.”If Google Assistant is active and permissions are granted, the screenshot is captured automatically.
5. Special Tools (for Samsung)Power + Volume Down works.You can also use the S Pen (Note series) to take a screen note.Or try Smart Capture or Palm Swipe:Settings > Advanced Features > Motions and Gestures > Palm Swipe to Capture.
