Android IMEI: What Is It?
IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique 15-digit identification number assigned to every mobile phone during manufacturing.
🔍 What Is IMEI Used For?
Device Identification:
IMEI number uniquely identifies each Android (or other) device. Even if two devices have the same model, color, or brand, their IMEIs are different.
Lost or Stolen Device Tracking:
If your device is lost or stolen, the IMEI number can be used by mobile carriers to block network access, making the device unusable by others.
