How to Delete Your TikTok Account

Deleting your TikTok account is quite simple. However, it’s important to back up your content and data before permanently deleting your account, as once deleted, it cannot be recovered. Here are the steps to delete your TikTok account:

1. Open the TikTok App:
   First, open the TikTok app and log in to your account.

2. Go to Your Profile:
   Click on the profile icon in the bottom right corner (usually a human figure or your profile picture).

3. Go to Settings & Privacy:
   On your profile page, click on the three lines icon in the top right corner (to open the settings menu).

4. Go to Account Management:
   In the menu that appears, click on Account Management.

5. Click on Delete Account:
   Click on the “Delete Account” option. This will allow you to permanently delete your account.

6. Verify Your Identity:
   You may be asked to verify your identity by using your phone number or email address.

7. Confirm Account Deletion:

Important Notes:

• Account Deletion: Once you delete your account, all your content (videos, comments, followers, etc.) will be permanently lost. Be sure to back up your content before proceeding with deletion.

• Account Deactivation: If you temporarily deactivate your account, your content is not deleted. You can log back in within 30 days to restore your account.
