How to Find Your Android Phone
Losing your Android phone can be stressful, but there are reliable ways to find it. Google offers a free service called Find My Device that helps you locate your lost or stolen phone using GPS and internet connection.
To find your phone for free:

Go to Find My Device on a computer or another phone.
Log in with the same Google account linked to your Android phone.
The service will show the phone’s approximate location on a map.
You can ring your phone, even if it’s on silent.
You can lock your device remotely and display a message with a contact number.
If needed, you can erase all data remotely to protect your privacy.
If your phone is offline or turned off, Find My Device will display its last known location. Once it reconnects, you’ll see the updated position.
You can also track your phone’s location via Google Maps Timeline if location history is enabled.
Finding a phone by phone number is generally not possible unless you contact your mobile operator for assistance.
Samsung users can additionally use Find My Mobile, a Samsung-specific service.
To prepare for possible loss, always keep your Google account active on your device, enable location services, and set a screen lock.
